I wanted to share this recipe and experience with you in the hopes you will think about adding Mushrooms in powdered or dried form to all your cooking of food to add vitamins, minerals and the complex make-up Mushrooms can offer to help heal your body and mind.
First I strongly believe Mushrooms are the reason why I feel amazing and I look younger. I eat a ton of Mushrooms all sorts of different ones, I actually journal my mushroom consumption so the caps I make for my body can keep my health at a positive functioning level. In other words, I am the test subject to how much my body can absorb in mushrooms. It works as I’m doing the things I like to do and my body and mind doesn’t hurt as much – I’m a functioning human being again. I still have my issues but I can manage them physically and mentally now as I’m healthier.
That is Mushroom Health – that is what I will be teaching you at my Mushrooms for Sexual Health Seminars – is to help you find that balance or at least start as it is a journey for finding your balance and positive energy!!!
Back to this Soup Recipe which I wrote about earlier 2024 for a company Organic Mushrooms in BC http://www.organicmushrooms.ca as they were having a contest for a Mushroom Recipe and we received $100.00 worth of Mushroom products which I sent to the mother of my granddaughter as it was her mother’s traditional recipe but I suggested adding the Powder Mushrooms not for taste but to enhance the nutritional intake – ie natural medicine.
As a mom – I know how to hide vegetables in my son’s food and now my granddaughter’s food. I hide lots of them as vegetables are good for a growing child. Therefore that same method should be applied to all our food.
Our food supply is disgusting – our food is plastic – fruits and vegetables from outside of Canada has to be sprayed before entering Canada – only Canadian grown food escapes that spray!!! And we all know sprays contain chemicals – plastics!!!! But Mushrooms are not sprayed in fact they are the one item not sprayed with growing chemicals or fertilizers. Mushrooms grow in dead material, trees, moss, leaves – dead material. They have a different growing system than vegetables and meat so Mushrooms are not quite a vegetable and not quite a meat either.
So if Mushrooms are packed full of nutrition – then in dried or grounded powder form they would still maintain their high levels of vitamins and minerals. So add them to your food – all your food as you cannot taste it. Honestly your body will tell you when you have taken to much – you will not die but your stomach and poops will tell you too much mushrooms – ie the journal for Mushrooms Health!!!
Back to this recipe.
Spring Onions – cut up the white and green parts – all of them.
Sear the Cheap Meat in a Pot – I change from Chuck Steak, Pork Shoulder – any cheap meat – but sear it in whatever Oil you have – I use Olive or Coconut or Avocado again whatever I have.
Once Meat is Seared I remove from the pot and cut into big chucks do not remove the fat or bones – keep it all.
But while cutting up the meat – I cook in the same pot the white part of the Spring Onions – add lots of Herbs etc for flavour then I add the Kimichi – 2 huge tablespoons – I like to fry it to extract the flavour to the pot – but just on Medium or less – then I add fresh mushrooms lots of different ones or sometimes just button – the choice is yours, and any other vegetables that are around in the kitchen – keep mixing in the pot – then add the meat back to the mix – 2 large cups of broth or water.
So everything is in the pot on medium – one big Tablespoon of Hot Red Pepper Paste (this is amazing – staple from Korean cooking) then a dusting of Mushroom Powder – one teaspoon at least or more and a handful of Red Lentils. Bring to a boil from Medium heat stirring occasionally – then turn stove to the lowest temperature for 3-4 hours or longer. A Crock Pot would be amazing for this Soup / Stew.
Then when ready to eat – you know when it is ready when the meat is super tender and melts in your mouth. Serve with Rice or Pasta or I prefer to make Roti Bread (the difference between Roti and Naan bread is yeast – Roti doesn’t use yeast) and enjoy. That is my Mushrooms package nutrition recipe for Korean Soup as it can feed a family for 20 bucks and packed full of flavour and health for the body.
